The second most important purchase you will ever make in your life is the purchase of your vehicle.  Whether you are a car enthusiast or you purchased a family vehicle to take your kids to and from soccer practice and hockey games on the weekends and after school, your vehicle (that which carries you and your loved ones to and fro) is a valuable but depreciating asset.

9H Ceramic coatings can add depth, thickness and rigidity to the clear coat creating an extra barrier between your vehicle and the elements, namely: Bird droppings, road tar, tree sap, industrial fall out and acid rain.  These elements can serve to deteriorate the clear coat thereby dulling the luster of your vehicle and reducing its gloss thereby reducing its value over time.  The resins that are contained in ceramic coating are microscopic hard silica that tightens the molecules on the substrate that also allows for rain and dirt to bead off the surface of the paint, which keeps the vehicle looking cleaner longer and doesn’t require to wash it as often which will also reduce scratches over time (that’s right washing your car swirls the paint).

Overall your vehicle will have that “wet” look for a longer period of time.  The dichotomy of having a harder paint surface that feels like silk to the touch is what you will experience.  The water contact angle increases to 120 degrees creating the perfect angle for water to sheet or bead off your car.  This too will help prevent water spots.
